Product Description

Introduction:
808 rheological additive is a kind of newly developed high-purity dispersible self-activated organic ammonium montmorillonite organoclay, based on 801-D, With finer grain diameter, less than 30μm if dispersed completely, it is the rheological additive of paint, printing oil for the low-medium and some part of high polar solvent system of aliphatic hydrocarbon, esters, ketone. It can be dispersed self-activatedly without activator in the medium-high polar solvent systems like xylene, xylene-esters (such as butyl acetate), xylene-ketone (such as cyclohexanone).

Application:
808 is a kind of dispersible broad-spectrum rheological additive, which can be used in antiseptic paint, printing oil, boat paint, industrial decorative paint, car primer coat and sealing materials.

Usage:
808 rheological additive can be added during any stage of the producing process without being made into pre-gel or grinded.

Dosage:
808 rheological additive's dosage in the paint is determined by the required thickening effect, rheological performance controlling request, pigment's precipitation degree. General dosage range is 0.5-1.5% of paint amount. Usually it can be probated according to the dosage of common organic clay before optimization. Usually, its dosage is less than that of common organoclay.
