Product Description

Introduction:
823 organic bentonite rheological additive is an organoclay for solvent-based systems of low,medium and high polarity. This product is similar to Bentone 150.

Application:
823, as a kind of high-quality, high-efficiency thickening, anti-sinkable, anti-sagging and thixotropy additive, it is widely used in industrial paint, printing oil, furniture paint, oil-field drilling.

Usage:
823 belongs to the unconventional type of organic bentonite, being an easy-to-disperse, self-activated organic bentonite. 823 no need for a chemical (polar) activator to reach the proper level of delamination of the organic bentonite platelet stacks.
It can also be added while grinding or after grinding without polar activator. If add it into medium polar solvent systems first, better performance can be expected. Meanwhile, high speed shear can also imrove the dispersion greatly.

Dosage:
823's dosage in the system is usually 0.5-2.5% (percentage in weight)
