Product Description:
827 is an organoclay (tetraallkyl ammonium bentonite) for solvent-based systems of high polarity. It has high gelling efficiency over high polarity organic liquids, especially in aromatic, alcohol, ketone, and the compounds of above. It Produces reproducible thixotropic consistency over a wide temperature range. and Imparts particle suspension, preventing hard settling of pigment and fillers. And it exerts strong film reinforce action in organic binder systems.. It is equivalent to Bentone27.

Usage:
827 organic bentonite requires the high shear condition and the polarity activator to enhance its dispersion and viscosity reinforcement according to the following steps:
1. Vehicle/solvent (mix)   
2. 827 (mix 10 minutes) 
3. Chemical (polar) activator (mix 5 to 10 minutes) ( Methanol/water(95/5): 33% of 827 / Ethanol/water(95/5): 33% of 827/ Acetone: 50% of 827)
4. Surfactant (if any)  
5. Pigment(s) (disperse to desired N.S.) 
The amount of 827 should account 0.3-2% of the total amount of the system, which is determined according to the test.
Applications:
Wood-ware lacquer, offset printing ink, fireproofing coating and gold stamping material, acrylic paint, primer paint, marine paint ect.
Package & Storage:
Kraft paper bag interior with PE.
The weight : 25±0.25kg per bag. 
The package and weight also can be customized.
Product should be stored in ventilated, cool and dry place.
Storage life : two years.
