Product Description:
CP-2 CP-2 is a remarkable self-dispersing organic bentonite, featuring high-efficiency thixotropic properties. It's designed for low to medium-high polarity solvent systems, including aliphatic, aromatic, or mixed solvents with ketones, esters, ethers, alcohols, and more.

Usage:
For low-polarity systems (e.g., 200# solvent oil), directly add the dry powder with a polarity activator to enhance high-shear dispersion. For medium to high-polarity systems, there's no need for pre-gel or activator; just achieve high-shear dispersion. Follow these steps:

1. Heat the specific oil to 60ºC~70ºC.
2. Add CP-2 (7-10% by weight of the total formula) and mill for 5-10 minutes.
3. Add polar activator (3% by weight of the total formula), then incorporate other additives and mill for 25-30 minutes.
4. Use a pump for thorough colloid grinding or homogenization.
5. Remove air, filter, and package the product.

In other systems, such as inks, heating is not necessary. Accelerating dispersion speed, prolonging dispersion time, or enhancing the temperature can improve the efficiency of CP-2 .

The dosage range of CP-2 is 0.2-2%, which can be determined through testing.

Printing inks, industrial paints,automotive paints,, lubricating grease, adhesives, wood coatings, and oil-field drilling applications.
Package & Storage:
Packed in a kraft paper bag with PE lining.
Each bag weighs 25±0.25kg.
