Product Description:
CP-2 is a kind of self-dispersed organic bentonite high-efficient thixotropic gelatin which is applicable to low and medium-high polarity solvent system of the aliphatic, aromatics, or the mixture solvent with the aromatics and the ketone, ester, aether, alcohol, etc.

Usage:
Directly put the dry powder into the low-polarity (eg.,200# solvent oil) by using the polarity activator to strengthen the high-shear dispersion. And if in medium to high-polarity solvent system, NO NEED for preparing the pre-gel or activator, providing the high-shear dispersion.. Following the steps shown below:
- Heat the specific oil to 60ºC~70ºC.
- Add CP-2 (7-10% by weight of total formula), mill for 5-10min.
- Add polar activator (3% by weight of total formula), then add other additives, mill for 25-30min.
- Using pump for getting through colloid grinding or homogenizer.
- Remove air, filtrate and package.
In other systems like inks, heating is not necessary. Increasing dispersion speed,prolong dispersion time or enhance the temperature will improve the efficiency of CP-2.
The dosage range of CP-2 is 0.2-2%, which can be defined according to test.
Applications:
Printing ink, Industrial paint, Auto paint,, Iubricating grease, adhesive and wood coating, oil-field drilling.
Package & Storage:
Kraft paper bag interior with PE.
The weight : 25±0.25kg per bag.
The package and weight also can be customized.
Product should be stored in ventilated, cool and dry place.
Storage life : two years.
